Idag fyller jag år - igen. Kändes som om det var alldeles nyss trots att det gått ett helt år. Tårtorna står i kylskåpet och väntar på eventuella gäster. Jag tror det kommer att bli en bra dag, jag har ju redan hunnit få paket …

Today is my birthday - again. It feels like I just had a birthday even though it’s a whole year ago. The cakes are ready if any guests show up. It feels like it’s going to be a good day, I already got pressies …

I går fyllde min väninna Lotta 50 år! Så vi packade in hela familjen i bilen och åkte de ca 10 milen för att gratta henne. Jag, min mamma och ytterligare 2 väninnor hade tagit tillfället i akt och sytt henne en quilt. Som vi kämpade med denna! Vi bor på fyra olika orter i norrland så det var inte helt enkelt må ni tro . Dessutom hade Lotta den "goda" smaken att ringa när vi har allt utslängt på golvet och säga att hon tänker hälsa på… Ni må tro att vi fick panik! Nu lyckades vi avstyra besöket och kunde hålla quilten hemlig och det var mödan värt, Lotta blev jätteöverraskad - och jätteglad när vi dök upp med presenten! Det blev en mycket trevlig dag med många glada skratt och supergott fika. Tack Lotta!

Yesterday my friend Lotta turned 50! The whole family went the 100 km to congratulate her on her big day. Me, my mother and 2 other friends took the oppurtunity to sew her a quilt. And oh how we struggled! The four of us live in four different cities in northern Sweden so it wasn’t easy . As if that wasn’t difficult enough Lotta called when everything is thrown out on the floor to say she was coming for a visit… Imagine the panik! Fortunately we manage to avoid the visit and could keep the quilt a secret, and it was so worth it, Lotta was totally surprised and super happy when we showed up with her gift! It was a very nice day with lots of laughter and plenty of coffe, cake and cookies. Thank you Lotta!

Now I’m almost finished with the gifts to my swap partner in the stitcher’s angel swap. Just one more thing to finish before putting it in the mail .
